Inmarsat will participate in the Offshore Shipping Journal, Asia event this year and look forward to meeting with key players in the offshore support vessel (OSV) sector in the region.
The focus of the event this year will be on the challenges that the pandemic has left behind for the industry, and how accelerating digital technologies can help to solve these issues, whilst also helping to achieving zero-emissions aspirations.
During the event, we will be running both a presentation and a round table session, details are included below.

We will be discussing how, thanks to the pandemic largely, data usage among maritime customers rose almost 70 percent in the 12 months to mid-2022 and how to meet the increasing demand for connectivity in the maritime industry. Topics covered will include:

Inmarsat’s Dennis Teo will be talking about how digital capabilities can increase performance, efficiency, profitability, and sustainable operations, clearly demonstrating the benefits of digitalisation, whilst also exploring the digital technologies that the future will bring. He will also provide insight around which operations and processes should be digitalised and why.
