Inmarsat is exhibiting at the UK’s largest event that focuses on the commercial future of space for business, defence and aerospace, Space-Comm Expo, which takes place at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre on 7-8 September.

Join us on stand J25, where we will be showcasing our network of the future, Inmarsat ORCHESTRA, which will combine geostationary orbit (GEO), low Earth orbit (LEO), highly elliptical orbit (HEO) and terrestrial 5G and mesh technologies into one seamless connectivity solution. Delegates will also be to get the latest updates on our technology roadmap, designed to meet the needs of our customers well into the future, and which includes the launch I-6 F2 with SpaceX in Q1 2023, the ‘identical twin’ to I-6 F1 launched in December 2021.

Inmarsat Programme Director, Strategic Programmes, Ammar Ali will present on Space Sustainability: Risk Factors and how the Space Industry is Driving Change on day one of the Expo in the Small Sats Theatre at 15:00-15:30 BST.

His presentation will focus on space sustainability and the need for industry, regulators and governments to come together to put in place actions to protect the space environment for generations to come – as outlined in our Space Sustainability Report and in the UK Government’s recent proposals.

On 8 September, Inmarsat Gobal Government President Todd McDonnell, will join the panel session The Role of Commercial Actors in Driving Space Security at 12:30 - 13:10. The sessiion will look at the importance of public-private partnerships to protect space and how collaboration with the private sector could support more robust space security. The panel line up also includes Telespazio UK, Lockheed Martin Space and Cranfield University.
