Inmarsat will be at the AUVSI Xponential 2022 conference in Florida, USA ready to discuss our latest satellite communication technology for commercial Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), from tiny terminals to amazing new software, as part of our Velaris showcase.

Velarisis a service designed and developed specifically for the commercial UAV sector. It is a global, reliable and totally scalable Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) service that enables everything from simple tracking and identification for small UAVs to full aero safety services for those operating in controlled airspace.

It also offers a range of supporting services, such as livestream video and encryption from our Velaris Partners, some of whom will be joining us on the Inmarsat booth (number 2401) this year:

  • Harvest Technology Group, who enable commercial operators of Uncrewed Vehicles (UAVs and Unmanned Surface Vehicles or USVs) to securely stream high-definition video, voice and data in real time to decision makers across the world, while utilising just a fraction of existing bandwidth resources.
  • TTP plc, Inmarsat's technology partner, enabling BVLOS operations through lowest SWAP-C communication solutions who will be showcasing the latest ELERA core technologies for the next generation of extremely small satellite communications terminals
  • Bellwether Industries’ Volar is a new category of transportation -, an Urban Air Mobility (UAM) aircraft for private use in urban areas. The Volar will explore all options of intracity travel and the future lifestyle.

We will also be running three presentations:
