Gregory Ewert of Inmarsat Elected to Board of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (CVTA)

Detroit, MI — Inmarsat (ISAT.L), the leading provider of global mobile satellite communications services and The Connected Vehicle Trade Association, Inc. (CVTA), the world’s largest and preeminent business league in vehicle communications, today announced that Gregory Ewert, President, Inmarsat Connected Car Program has been elected as a Member of the CVTA Board of Directors. Inmarsat has also joined CVTA as a Corporate Member. CVTA members work to promote the deployment of Connected Vehicle solutions for safety, mobility, convenience and commercial applications.

Ewert, who joined Inmarsat in 2013 has recently been appointed head of their Connected Car Program and is responsible for the overall strategy and development of this opportunity.  Prior to this position he served as President, Inmarsat Enterprise where he was responsible for overall global business strategy and direction of the company’s Enterprise business unit. He has more than 25 years of senior executive leadership experience across a wide range of technologies in the telecommunications field.
